What NOT To Do Within The Best Twin Buggy Industry

The Best Twin Buggy

This inline double is designed to grow with your family. It comes with a variety of seating options that are suitable for twins or children of different age groups. Its foam-filled tires never flatten, and its soft suspension is perfect for the kerbs.

It is easy to travel with because it folds super-flat and it satisfies the weight requirements for gate-checks at airports. It also has a large storage basket under the seat, and a four-panel sun canopy.

Leclerc Influencer

With its sleek design, auto-fold and cabin approved dimensions the Leclerc Influencer is a great choice for travelers. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. It is slightly bigger than the IATA standard 45cm. However, it conforms to the hand luggage requirements of airlines. It can be stored in overhead lockers during flights (subject to airline approval). We found it was easy to clean with just a wipe down, and there were many extras available such as nappy bags, footmuffs and buggy organiser bags that fit onto the handles and hoods, providing UV50and protection.

We love that it is so compact when folded down, and how it fits easily through small spaces like shops narrow alleyways and Jane's tiny terrace - and it's even easy to move up and down the stairs. The bumper bar doubles as a handle for carrying and there's a large, flip-flop friendly brake with a color-coded indicator. The basket is smaller than other models, but it can still hold a large changing bag. There are also additional tray to store drinks, snacks and toys.

It's suitable for babies from the time of birth and can be used with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat using adaptors (sold separately). For older children, there's a backrest that flattens for naps or long walks. The smart magnetic 5-point harness is easy to use. It is also super light, weighing only 6.6kg. A travel bag is included.

Joie Evalite Duo

British brand Joie is committed to "sharing happiness with the new parents", creating pushchairs that are "functional and fashionable". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It is designed to hold two children at a time in contrast to the slightly heavier Aire Twin. It also features stadium-style seating, which lets both children see the world.

At just over 10kg at just over 10kg, the Evalite Duo is one of the lightest strollers for siblings available. It's suitable for babies from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to drive or ride, lift, and fold and the clever frame expands to fit the second seat.

Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is a major feature of the Evalite Duo, and they were awed by how quickly and easily it can be put together. However, they did note that it's a bit more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.

They also mention that the front seat does not fully recline, and they needed to utilize their hands to bring it back down - something they'd prefer not to be forced to do when traveling with children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a great stroller that could be improved upon with a few tweaks. And they are awestruck by how compact and small when folded!

iCandy Peach

iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that offers parents all the options they need. It is compatible with a variety of car seats and folds up easily with a single click. It also comes with a variety of extras that rival brands charge for separately like rain covers and liners.

iCandy Peach is a favourite among parents who are fashion-conscious, thanks to its stylish and modern jersey fabrics. The 2022 model of the Peach has undergone a series of minor tweaks that improve performance and efficiency without sacrificing aesthetics.

The addition of a ride-on board makes this the perfect option for twins. It's also a bit smaller than previous Peach models, but that doesn't stop it from offering all the space you could require for your kids.

This is an excellent double stroller if you want something stylish and versatile. It can be used from the beginning as a single stroller and then purchase a double-kit for it to transform into a twin buggy. It comes with a large basket and five recline positions to provide maximum comfort for your child. It also has a one-handed fold and an integrated carry strap. It's bulky to store, especially because it folds in two parts instead of just one.

iCandy Orange

This is the most comfortable twin buggy on the market. The seats can be fitted with footmuffs and liners to keep your children warm in cold weather. The carrycot is simple to attach with the side flaps that open to allow for gate opening. It is spacious and comfortable. Orange chassis allows for 30 different combinations of the seats and carrycot.

The wheels are specially designed to take on rough and concrete ground and there's a hefty shopping basket beneath that is ideal for big supermarket shops. This pushchair is comfortable to drive and has a light feel and the rounded pedal brake is easy to use (but it's not flip-flop-friendly). The latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. After it's folded the front wheels slide under the basket, and the chassis can stand.

The Orange is a great option for parents who are style-conscious and have a toddler or baby or both. They want a buggy which will expand with their child. It's also a great option for parents who plan to have an additional child in the near future and want a movable  double pushchair . The iCandy Orange is not cheap, but it's versatile enough that it's likely to last a while and have a good resale value as well. It can also be fitted with a buggy board, which can reduce the number of siblings fighting over seats.

Mountain Buggy Duet

Mountain Buggy, founded by a New Zealander and part of the Mokopuna Group that also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger is the first pram company to focus on two all-terrain pushchairs. The Duet twin stroller can be easily maneuvered in narrow shopping aisles and through doors. It is among the most compact, full-featured double buggies in the market and has been awarded numerous awards, including 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and the 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.

The narrow seats are large enough for children of different ages to sit together comfortably and the seats are independently reclineable so kids can choose their preferred position. The large canopies come with the ability to flip out sun visors and the storage bin is extremely spacious. It works with most brands and can accept two adapters for infant car seats with the purchase of car seats.

The only drawback is the weight. It is hefty at 32.4 pounds and could be difficult to lift out and into of the trunk for Grandma. It is also more expensive than the majority of side-by-side double buggies. However, it has been built to last and comes with a lot of features for the money. It is a great choice for urban parents who wish to avoid lugging a bulky stroller around. The padding of the harnesses, the 5-point buckle and padded straps make it safe for babies.

Bugaboo Donkey twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with elegant design. It's a top-quality product, however, it's not without flaws.

It comes with very few amenities, both for children and parents. The only thing that is offered by the small side bin is that it can only be used when one seat in the car is attached. There are no parent trays cup holders, cup holders or pockets for accessories, and this could be problematic for long trips.

The seats also don't recline to a flat position and the gap between them is quite large which is why our 5 year old was unable to lie back with ease. That's a shame considering it's a high-end model.

On the positive side, it's a breeze to maneuver and the swivel wheel is great at getting up the steps and slopes. It's also narrow enough to fit through the majority of doors and folds down easily for easy storage and transportation. It can also be switched back to mono mode in just three clicks if you need more space or a quick escape. The comfort wheeled board can accommodate an additional child if required. It's expensive, but when you're on a tight budget, there are other options out there. If you like the brand and can afford it, it's worth the cost.
